It turns out that the domestic abuse allegations against Allen Co. GOP Chairman Steve Shine were much ado about nothing. Michael Dvorak, a special prosecutor appointed to look into the charges, released a letter declining to prosecute Shine according to Fort Wayne Observed.
"In conclusion, the investigative reports reveal that there was no hitting, there were no injuries suffered, and that it appears that at worst Mr. Shine reached into the vehicle to grab the keys from the ignition . . . There is no evidence with which to prove the crime of intimidation and insufficient evidence to . . . prove the crime of battery, beyond a reasonable doubt," Dvorak wrote.
It should be pointed out that Dvorak is a Democrat, lest anyone doubt his decision not to prosecute Shine. Case closed.
