The Problem With Tony Bennett's Common Core In A Nutshell


According to this Common Core standards advocate, a student who says 3 x 4 = 11 is not necessarily wrong as long as the student can accurately describe how he or she arrived at the wrong calculation. Contrast that with an 8th grade examination students were required to pass in 1910 in order to receive a diploma to grasp just how much the public education system has dumbed down American students over the years.
